Unfortunately, DVD Profiler has stopped. |

| | Posted: | | | | OK. I've installed the latest DVD Profiler for Android and whenever I tell it to update the collection, I get the error "Unfortunately, DVD Profiler has stopped.". I set it up to do on-line updates. Any ideas?
DVD Profiler for Android 4.0.0 build 75
Samsung Galaxy S4, Android 5.0.1

or uninstall, re-boot, re-install.
Something similar happened to me. Problems went away after the uninstall / re-install step. Don't know if was a fluke or not. But it is easy to try. | | | Thanks for your support.

| | Posted: | | | | I'll give it a try. I had removed it over the summer when it stopped working, after installing the beta. Just put it back on yesterday, but I'll try clearing cache/data, remove, reboot the phone, then reinstall it. |

I cleared cache/data
I stopped the app and cleared cache/data again, just to make sure
Uninstalled the app
Shut off the phone and let it sit for a minute before turning it back on
Reinstalled
Rebooted the phone again to make sure appropriate services are started
Viola...seem to be downloading profiles.

I updated DVD Profiler on PC to 4.0, tried to sync with DVD Profiler on Android (1.2.5), and got "Unfortunately, DVD Profiler has stopped". I understand from reading the invelos forms that I need to update the mobile app also but how is that done? I read that if purchased from Google Play, there's an update option under MyApps. However, I purchased from Amazon and, while the app is shown under MyApps, I see no update facility. What have I missed? |
