| Posted: | | | | Same thing here. I just updated to the new Windows PC version. It was able to send the new blu ray I'd scanned from my phone, but when trying to read the database on the PC, it crashes. Hopefully a new iteration of the Android app will fix this incompatibility. Or something.
ETA: I saw in another forum post (http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=851099) a similar issue and they suggested opting into the beta version. I've just signed up for it and hopefully that will resolve the issue. | | | trinalin

| Posted: | | | | Well done Invelos, on PC, the recommended update 4.0 installed. After that, many new records were introduced. After much work, I want to sync the android dvdprofiler mobile app, but by application crash, the complete database on tablet has been destroyed. Now mobile therefore unusable. Back to version 3.9.1 on PC also can not because backup of 4.0 can not be returned to earlier versions. The normal method is to test everything well, and if there are no more errors then roll out update. Invelos does the other way around, let users test the update and discover the problems. Thank you, Flapdrollen !!! |

| Posted: | | | | Similar problem here; I've been unable to sync with the desktop version since installing 4.0. I'm using the beta Android version. The odd thing is, when I tried installing the desktop version on a computer at work, and restored a backup of my database to it, i was able to sync with that copy. The only difference at home that I can think of is that I keep the database on a NAS drive, so I can access it from two different computers (never at the same time). This has never been a problem before, and still isn't for the IOS app, which still syncs fine, but I can no longer sync the Android app to either computer. |

| Posted: | | | | OK, with the release of the android update, here is also the problem solved. But there are four days between the PC update and the android update shows that Invelos does not think it's important to be accurate to users. This carelessness of them costs me the necessary hours. |

| Posted: | | | | Yes, it was a shame they were not released together, but let's not over-react... 1) Invelos may have told Google to make the 4.0 live and Google 'put it on the queue'... and there would have been just and much wailing if they had relesed Android 4.0.0 first and Desktop was still beta only. 2) Who REALLY added massive numbers of titles that they just COULDN'T be without on the mobile app for a few days... they could easily check online list to ensure they didn't buy a title twice until the Android release became available.
BTW Unlike in the past when (not Invelos' fault) Amazon took weeks to release the Android version on Amazon App store, this time the update went live at about the same time as Google so obviously Invelos DID think ahead but it just didn't work out pefectly. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

If you are running Version 4.0.0 Build 75 that is the same as the now released version. Yeah, that's the version I have; I must have a different problem, then, because I still can't sync. Oddly, it works fine on a computer at work, but fails on two different computers at my house... |
