| Posted: | | | | Hi,
i've created three disc profiles (at this moment only locally) . If i want them add to an approved profile, the disc profiles can't be found in the title list.
I've created the new disc profiles in various tries: *creating an alternate profile from the approved box profile *creating an alternate profile from an approved disc profile having an other location/country *creating an complete new profile
Anyone has a better idea or can help solving this problem?

| Posted: | | | | Hello,
I'm sorry, but I don't quite get the question. It might help if you post specifics.
What kind of box set is it?
Does the parent have a UPC/EAN? Do they children have a UPC/EAN?
It is common for a child profile (By Disc ID) to be in many different box sets, in this case an alternate can be created.
Do not change locality to the children... unless it's some very strange instance, the locality should match the parent.
It would be much easier if you posted the specifics of this case, as there are too many variables involved to give a conclusive answer. | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

| Posted: | | | | - Parent profile is a tv series with ean code - new child/disc profiles with the disc id (complete new, no other assignments)
My normal flow: - create a disc profile with disc id as alternate profile of the parent | | | Last edited: by Duncan MacLeod |

| Posted: | | | | I think I know what you are talking about. And if I am correct... it is because of a rule change.
We have 2 different ways box sets for TV series can be submitted now... Depending on how they are sold.
If it is one big box set holding season/series sets that also has their own UPC/EAN then there can be profiles for each season/series. If they do not have their own UPC/EAN then they are not allowed for the main online database.
If they do not have their own UPC/EAN the main (complete series) profile gets all the info... and a child profile for each disc is allowed. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | ok my workflow:
1) there is a tv series season box with an own ean/upc-code 2) i create a disc profile of one dvd in this box. To have lesser work i use the alternate profile function: 2a) alternate profile with setting the disc id 2b) change all informations 2c) disc profile is ready 3) repaet the steps from (2a-c) for all discs of profile (1)
and then normaly
4a) opening parent box profile, change view to "Box Set Contens" 4b) select the new disc profiles on the left side and assign them to the box (disc profiles changes to the right side of this view) 4c) Save the changes on the box profile. Disc profiles are added.
The result of this workflow is considering the rules.
The Problem now is: the new disc profiles are not selectable on the left side in step (4b) | | | Last edited: by Duncan MacLeod |

| Posted: | | | | I'va solved the problem. I can create and add the disc profiles. I discard my local changes on the parent profile and the i can add the disc profiles.
But i don't know the cause for this problem. It could be my changes, but i can suggest this. I add the changes after adding the disc profiles, and it is possible adding other profiles ... |
