Scanners to scan barcodes with this program?

I Everyone I don't do this to often so please work with.
I want to put a scanner on my computer to read the barcodes on my large and getting larger personal
colliection of dvds. Are the compatable with this systems it dislays its self as a storage proram and video.

Every scanner that sends its results like a keyboard will do.

Open notpad, scan some barcode and if the numbers appear, it will work just fine.

I'm using the Adesso NuScan 1000U contact CCD barcode scanner and it works great.
Never has a mis-scan, and it's very fast with long USB cable.
