| Posted: | | | | Maybe I'm just overlooking it... why can't I find the button to buy dvds from online retailers anymore? I loved this feature, and wish it would come back... or someone show me where it is.... | | | _________________________________________________________________________ "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and hear the lamentation of the women!" |

| Posted: | | | | Like Mark I never used the feature - its much better to use a search engine that looks at all the various online stores and compares prices so you get the best deal.
why go to just one retailer? | | | Paul |

but why would you only want the price from one retailer? Surely you want the cheapest price (so you can get more DVDs). Profiler 2.4 did actually come up with prices from all registered retailers that had the item available so you could compare them. Of course it was pointless to those outside the US, and if it does ever return I hope to see a system that takes user Locality into account. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | Sounds like a cool plugin/button that when pressed launches a DVDPriceSearch webpage with the price list of the selected (or flagged titles) shown, according to whatever your settings were, i.e. favorite websites, etc. | | | Dyslexics are teople poo. | | | Last edited: by bpatt |

| Posted: | | | | I never found the pricefinder feature of the old version very useful. Frequently it showed prices from sites which no longer had the item available. There was a button or something by which the user was supposed to be able to adjust the information accordingly, but it never worked. |

| Posted: | | | | For region 2, you can use www.find-dvd.co.uk I think RichieRich posted it on the IVS forums, and it is very good. You can setup alerts to send an email when one of your choices drops below a specified amount. | | | Jon "When Mister Safety Catch Is Not On, Mister Crossbow Is Not Your Friend."
