| Posted: | | | | When I try to restore my database to my new comp, I get this no matter what I do (full restore or just any given title). It happens right during the first partt when it says it's importing the cast db, so I never get a chance to see any titles in there. Is there anything I can do to get my database back? It would be bad enough having to put in 2000+ titles without a scanner, but I have hundreds of customs covers and pictures for cast and crew that would take decades to get back. Please tell me there is a way. I already ran database repair and it did nothing.
Since photobucket doesn't work on my new shiitake mushroom, it says:
Big red letters - RESTORE ABORTED small black letters - the following error occured during the restore: data error
This happens when it's doing the cast and won't even try to do anything past that. It also happens when I try any given title. I've downloaded and re-ran the program 5 times and no help, I've ran db recovery tool 5 times (3 basic, 2 full) and nothing changed. |

| Posted: | | | | This is probably due to a corrupted backup file. Is it the only backup file you have, or have you the possibility to make another backup on your old computer ? | | | Images from movies |

I tried it on my girlfriend's laptop and got a sdimilar error, but when I went back later my collection was there! SO i used the database repair on her comp, copied that file to my comp, and now it appears to be working (haven't tried adding anything new yet). At least I can see my stuff for now! Edit, just added a disc with no issue! |
