How complex the whole thing will be depends on what data you have and what you want to import. DVD Profiler works primarily with UPCs, if you don't have those, it will be a bit hairy. Do you have personal data (place of purchase, date o.p., watched date, collection number etc) that should be imported? Everything regarding the DVD/BD will come from the online-database so no worries there. Best thing would be to post ~3 lines of the data you have. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | hi,
thks for yor prompt reply, and the hint with BulkEdit. basically i dont care about purchase date, collection number, wathced date etc...:
The Big Kahuna FSK12 The Big Lebowski 1998 OmdU The Boss Of It All German.2006.FSK14
sometimes there is after the title, infos for recommended age, or language and subtitles but i could easily delete anything but the title

If yes, get "barcode2file" for android or find a similar app for apple that simply scans a series of barcodes and stores them in a text-file, one code per line. Scan the barcodes of your disc, like 50 or 100 at a time and send those as a text-files to your PC. Now in DVD Profiler go "DVD -> Add to Collection -> Add by UPC" and click on "Add Multiple" and simply open the files one after another. cya, Mithi PS You could scan all into one file, but for performance reasons I'd recommend a few smaller ones. | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

My hosting site has changed. The link you are using might have the old URL. Can you tell me where you found the link, and if I can change it, I will. Mithi's link is correct. The is an unannounced version out there that should work on both the old and Beta versions of DVDP. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here.
