I can't say I'm overly fond of this idea.  First of all, this is an app for my movie database, not for movie news.  Second, if I did want movie news, apparently there is this app called My Movies by Blu-ray.com that already does this.

I'd never vote to take away extra functionality that doesn't affect me.  But in this case I think I'd prefer to see the app do what it was designed for first.  And if you're following the news for 2.1.3, you'd see we're not there at this point.

Personally, I don't believe an app to track my DVD collection is really the proper place to look for news about upcoming releases.
