No alpha sort in the owned section of the sort function. The only sort available is by collection number. Alpha sort available in all other sections.
The sort function in general is "wonky" in every category, basic or added categories. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I do not know what alpha sort is, in Owned just as in every other collection category I can sort by Title, Media Type, Release Date, Production Year, Rating, Runtime, Genres, Country of Origin, Collection Number, Purchase Date, Review, Last Watched or Random Order ascending or descending and did not notice a problem.
Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect]

Alpha sort= Aphabetic sort (sort titles by alphabet). And none of those options is available from the right hand "list" that is supposed to appear.
The most I get is the sort by Title (Alpha). And that does not work in Owned. Just sort by Collection Number.

If possible, please post a screenshot of what you're seeing from the sort selection menu.

Hi Ken.
I finally found a decent program for screen caps. There is a full description of the pics and a link to where they are stored:

Pic 1) I received an Error 3 most of this morning, 10/25/13 4AM. Just FYI
Pic 2) Current sort in Owned, no Alpha available, only numeric.
Pic 3) "Black square" that occurs where drop down menu options should be.
Pic 4) You can get reverse numeric sort.
Pic 5) Same "Black square" error in reverse numeric sort.
Pic 6) Same issue in Wishlist.
Pic 7) Same issue in Caregories that do Alpha sort correctly. NO other options available.
Pic 8a) Same issue in All. Also, in All, option to sort almost non-existent. You really have to work
at it to get any response from the program.
Pic 8b) Same issue, A-Z sort
Pic 9) Version number.

Beta Test screen caps of error.

Depending on the device, you usually can take screenshots on Android without an additional app.
On my phone, I have press and hold the home button and the power button at the same time and it takes a screenshot. On my tabloid the same can be done by pressing the power button and volume down button at the same time.

Doesn't work for me. It would have been too simple.

I think you have an image width issue.

If I am not mistaken, your screen resolution is too narrow to display the additional tags (Title ^)

Compare your image

Looking at your images, compared to my screenshot, seems narrow

Maybe Ken can adjust image to fit the narrow resolution

You got me. My screen width is my screen width. It's how the phone was made. The display lists as
4 inch WGA resolution.

No.  I mean the resolution

The droid has a screen resolution of 480 x 800 (480 pixels across 800 pixels down)

The Optimus g  has a resolution of 768 x 1280.

I makes me wonder if the program can be tweaked to display in the lower resolution????

The screen caps as uploaded are edited to a smaller width to minimize file size.
They all started out at 480x800
