Separate Movies and TV series databases?

I was wondering if there is a way to add TV series to my collection but not in my main movies I guess you call it a database of my collection. I have tried this and ended up deleting a series which I had to add back.

I wanted one for movies and one for my TV series so I could print out movies only and TV series only Separately from each other. I cannot find a way to do this any ideas?

Custom Collection Categories will do the trick.

It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

Other ways to be able to do this, other than using Custom Collection Categories, would be
1) to use Tags, select on these and then print.
2) to filter on Genre (make sure you have Television as a genre in all your TV series first) and then print.

You can actually create a totally separate database if you really want to.
From the menu: File -> Open Database -> New Database

However this has several drawbacks compared to the suggestions already mentioned. You can only use one database to upload to your online as Invelos, and you can afaik only syncronize one database with an iOS or Android device.

So, probably not what you want to do, but since you asked about separate databases...
