| Posted: | | | | I got my initial load done from my pc with all the images. I had to do a clean install and it worked once. Now when I connect, the connection is fast, reading the database is fast, the new profiles transfer fast, it hangs at copying images. I'm not changing the size, so it should only transfer the 2 new images. Looking at the connection inside DVDProfiler, it shows my DNA connected for 15 seconds, then it goes to idle for a long time and eventually it says 0 connections. On the phone it will say "updating" for as long as I want to wait until I cancel it. To summarize, it connects and everything except the images transfer in a matter of minutes.

| Posted: | | | | Updated to new version today, 1.01 build 29 and the issue isn't fixed. It connects, reads database, copies profiles and stays connected for exactly 15 seconds then goes to "idle" status when looking at the desktop connected clients. It will stay in idle for quite some time, eventually going to disconnected. The program on the phone will stay on "updating" until the battery dies.

| Posted: | | | | Step one is to run a database repair on your PC, then try the update again. |

| Posted: | | | | I did a database repair, rebooted the phone and the same thing happens. In the next to last beta I finally got the images to sync over. I had to uninstall the app on the phone, delete the files, and re-install everything. I got it to sync over that time. I didn't upgrade to the last beta, since I hadn't added anything to the collection. I uninstalled and deleted the the files again when I purchased version 1.0 and got the initial sync to copy the images. Since then, I've added 2 new movies on version 1.0, updated and the names and profiles sync to the phone, but the images don't. I upgraded to version 1.0.1 today and the same thing is happening.
Next I went into Settings>Apps and cleared data. I restarted the app and it went through the initial wizard like it had never been installed as I expected. I connected and the sync went through fine and all the images copied over. It created a new LocalData_1 folder and put the database there. I then exited the app, started it again and it was back to the same behavior, the connecting, reading database, copying profiles go through about 1-2 seconds for each then hang on copying images.

| Posted: | | | | Can you try creating a small test database on your PC and syncing with a new database on your device? Then, do a small add and sync to see if you can reproduce the problem. I'd like to find out whether it's related to your existing database, or something else. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | It Works! I created a test database, added a few titles, synced, and it was all good. I added a new dvd and synced again and it worked just like I expected. I then created a new database, this time copying from my original, synced and it worked. I added a new dvd, synced and it worked. I changed the image size and removed back covers, synced and it worked. It appears that something in my database was borked that the repair didn't fix.
Thanks for the help! |
