location not showing up in reports |

I also downloaded several reports made by others and the disc location does not show up any longer. The fields are still in the reports, they just don't display any values. | | Posted: | | | | I neglected to mention that about an hour before I ran the report, I finished my weekly backup (in DVDP, that is - I back up the computer daily, and the DVDP backup is run once a week in my manual Saturday morning routine, when I enter and file the discs from the week before), and repaired it as a result of the backup prompting me. I had the problem after that.
However, to be thorough, I also ran the repair moments ago and re-ran both my report and the Collection Location report that I just downloaded from the report collection. I get the same result.
Could someone run a report such as Collection Location and see if the location is reflected in the output on your setup? I'd like to know if it is just my setup or if it's more widespread before I take more drastic steps like installing on a different machine...

Just to be on the safe side: If you open "Collection Location" or your own report in the report editor the necessary fields show "true"?  Yes, should be a given if you just downloaded it but I#ve seen stranger things. And just out of curiosity: if you export a profile to XML, is the Location present there? If yes, and the additional repair does not yield results, I'm completely stumped. | | Posted: | | | | Well, it's fixed. I installed DVDP on a separate computer, and downloaded data from DVD Profiler online. It looked perfect. So, with knowledge that I could restore it, I took the most recent backup aand restored it to the original machine. This wiped out all of my location information on the machine (or, at least, it didn't show in the DVD listings, or each of the individual profiles. So, my thought at that point was some kind of subtle corruption that the repair utility did not fix (and, yes, I also ran it from outside of the program)
So, I deleted and reinstalled the program on the original machine, and restored from the same backup that appeared to wipe out my location information. Lo and behold, all information was there.
