| Posted: | | | | Build 17 will not sync with DVDP Online via WiFi nor would Build 16. All earlier builds would. When launched it switches my screen from landscape to portrait mode, it connects but when it starts to read the database it drops back to the program. Also when I choose to sync from my PC it changes from landscape to portrait, but the sync still works properly, just not via the WiFi connection.

| Posted: | | | | In the WiFi it stops when it starts to read the database, it flips to portrait as soon as I choose to update database.

| Posted: | | | | The switch to portrait mode is working as designed.
You indicated "Build 17 will not sync with DVDP Online", but the online sync does not have a step called 'reading database'. That step is only part of the sync with a local shared windows database.
What type are you syncing with and what is the step it's stopping on exactly? | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | The actual term on screen is "Scanning Collection" sorry for the misrepresentation.

| Posted: | | | | Please try again with build 18. If it still errors out, I may need to look at the database. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Still flips from landscape to portrait and now it stays on "Scanning Collection" and goes no further, I had to cancel the update after fifteen minutes.

| Posted: | | | | The flipping from landscape to portrait is as it should be.
Leave the 'scanning collection' running. In certain conditions, possibly after an interrupt with an earlier build, it may take some time.
Alternatively, just create a new database, open it, and sync. It should go by that step instantly. After it is synced, you can delete the other database. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | I have the auto rotation on my Note 2. When I do an update from the online collection and rotate the phone from portrait to landscape the screen stays in portrait mode and continues with update. I am happy with the fix. Build 18 | | | Last edited: by Dragon 6 |

| Posted: | | | | It works now and it's a lot faster too, I just don't like the shift from landscape to portrait mode. None of the earlier build did that until Build 17. (Imho) Otherwise everything else is looking fantastic!

| Posted: | | | | Just found this thread and agree. I perceive the flipping of the screen from landscape to portrait mode as a bug. I loathe when apps do this instead of keeping the correct mode. My tablet is docked to a keyboard dock and it's a pain when you have to view things sideways. I agree with Rorymatt that it worked fine up until Build 17. |
