| Posted: | | | | Polarized, however with today's technology and price of the glasses, I would prefer Shutter. Don't get me wrong, Polarized is great. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | As TV sizes get bigger, shutter has its limitations. Sony who use Shutter technology, have had to go Polarized on their 85" 4K TV as at 4k it is impossible to do shutter.
BTW this TV looks awesome when proper 4k material is played on it. Have also previwed the LG 85" 4k. No difference that I can see. |

| Posted: | | | | My LG 47" 3D utilizes the same 3D technology that is in the theaters. In fact, I use the 3D glasses from the theater instead of the ones that came with the TV because they fit over my glasses and stay in place properly. | | | John

| Posted: | | | | My Samsung 55" uses active shutter. I once looked at a Phillips with Polarized 3D, and it look, to me at least, the 3D effect had less depth as the active version. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm
