Hi,  I'm new to DVD Profiler (a week) and have successfully imported my collection and am in the process of ripping my collection.  My question for you all is what is the best/recommended way to reflect a title that I've ripped?  I thought about adding a custom media type, "ripped", but when i did that, DVD Profiler prompted me to upload my contribution.

I'm thinking a field that isn't uploaded/contributed would be a better idea?

Thoughts?

Much appreciated,

Roger

You can use TAGs. Also, Location, Slot and Notes are considered to be Personal Information, and therefore are not part of the Online database. You can do whatever you want to them, and you will not be prompted to upload a contribution.

I am a bit surprised that the Custom Media Type is contributable, however.  You might have uncovered a subtle bug.
Thanks for your support.
