Not sure if they are the same model numbers in the UK (USA they are called 5010 6010 I think). There is a cheaper TW6100, but if you can afford better...
The W at the end means wireless - if you want that. I have a 9100 and it is the bee's knees, absolutely superb. Comes with rf style 3D glasses (2 of) that have rechargeable batteries. Being RF means you don't have to be facing the projector or in any direction at all for them to work. They are considered the best type of 3D glasses.

Note that these are fairly new models (Nov 2012??) the earlier models didn't have the "1" eg: 8000, 9000 etc - don't get one of them, even if you see it at a good price as the 3D glasses are not as good and are throw away type (expensive).

The 9100 I run in THX mode - great picture, I'm not sure the all lower models are THX certified. 3D has multiple modes and of course it auto-detects all this stuff. The 9100 series is also supposed to take additional anamorphic lenses if that's your thing. I guess that's for particular people. This thing has an amazing lens shift feature - you can basically put the projector anywhere you like in a room and still be able to lens shift the picture to project the display where ever you want. You are not stuck with a specific ceiling hanging point or XXcm off the ground point etc.

My Epson EH-TW9100, it's big, black and beautiful, best AV purchase I ever made.

Edit: In your price range - most probably cheaper in stores

Actually I'm under impression that JVC at the has better black levels, but not much. It all depends how you measure it. There are several ways for it, Dynamic, ANSI, etc.

Congrats to that.

Just don't forget to get a decent silver-screen too. The picture of the best projector looks crappy if merely thrown against a white wall.
