Right now I have an ancient VHS camcorder and looking to leap into the digital realm.

Questions.
1. What are the recording times on these?
2. Do all of them also take pictures?
3. What software do I need to turn the camcorder recordings into something that will play on a dvd player? (I have <My Movie-Windows Live Movie Maker pre-installed on my computer)

Basically I'm looking for something that can take videos (perhaps as long as 2 hours), take pictures and perhaps upload to youtube.

Max I want to spend is $250-$300.
