| Posted: | | | | Recently got rid of a few of my DVDs. Made a new personal collection category "Previously Owned" and moved these DVD titles from "Owned" to it. I did not untick the box "include contents in owned collection" so now these DVDs have a collection number. Have unticked the box, renumbered collection but cannot seem to remove coleection numbers from this "Previously Owned" collection. Any ideas would be appreciated |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for your reply. I can see that now - in 3.8.1 I think the box is called "count as" - I set it to "0" and it removed the collection number. However, I did get rid of rather a lot of my DVDs, 100+, and so just wondered if there was a global way that I could achieve the same thing. Thanks |

| Posted: | | | | You can copy one profile where you set the Count As to 0. (via DVD -> Copy).
No you flag all the profiles in your custom collection by pressing CTRL-A.
Now you paste the Count as via Collection -> Flagged -> Paste
Unfornately the same does not work with the Coll#. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

It does indeed change the count to "0" - but the collection number is still there. I think that's actually what you said. If I go into one of these changed profiles and change the count no from "0" to "1" and then back to "0" and then press OK - voila - the collection number disappears. There has to be an easy way - I hope. |

Use "-1" for collection number to set the None checkbox, or you can use a blank collection number, but the checkbox will not be checked. This is even faster if you use the BulkEdit "Collection>Flagged>Clear Collection#" menu. This would be a good candidate for inclusion in 3.82. | | | Thanks for your support. Could not see the "Collection>Flagged>Clear Collection#" menu - so, I loaded flagged entries - profile ID and Collection No, Highlighted collection no and then used the Multi-copy option - tool 4 In the "regex look for" box I put the formula I needed and left the "regex replace with" box blank. thanks again |

thanks again Great. I'm impressed. You went from 0 to 60 (oops 100 km/h) using BulkEdit faster than anybody I've seen. I'm just a bit concerned that you didn't find the menu option. I wonder if some kind of bug ... maybe you could check again someday? Oh I know ... that menu is on the main DVDP menu, not the BulkEdit menu. My original instruction was misleading. The menu appears to be part of DVDP, but is actually placed there by the plugin. This is thanks to the brilliant plugin API provided by Ken.
