| Posted: | | | | I setup dvd profiler as a server on one computer and i set it up as a client on another. The client computer has the buttons for adding / editing / etc all greyed out even though I have a change permission. I am able to add on my ipad. Any idea why the windows client is read only while the ipad version is not? |

For having full access on the "Client" you'd have to:
1) Allow Remote Access to the database folder (Host) 2) Point the client-installation of DVDProfiler to the "New" database (Menu: File -> Open Database... -> Browse)
This variant allows full access on each remote computer, but sadly only for 1 computer at a time. Parallel multi-user access isn't possible yet.
For this variant it has shown to be useful to move the database to a network drive (NAS). | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
