Just installed 3.8 and began updating my collection but now it seems that some DVD titles are being overwritten by other titles

For example, a DVD shows the right info and title when I hover over the cover photo but when I click on it, it shows the full details of another film. About 10% of my films now do this.

I had backed up a little way in to adding new titles to the database and have backed up since.

Would it possibly be to do with 'Refresh Updated Profiles' being activated?

I'm really peed off. I've just spent several hours updating my collection.

Help please!

If there's something strange in the Profiler, what do you do?
No, don't call the Ghostbusters.
Do a database repair. It's amazing the number of strange errors that can be fixed by a simple database repair. That's always the first thing you should try.

Before anything else: make a BACKUP now.
After this, try a database repair.
If that doesn't help, you can try to download your online collection if you've uploaded it recently.
At last you can open a support ticket.

Making  a backup is never wrong, but on the other hand if the database repair doesn't fix the problem then the backup probably won't be of much use anyway...

Well, you'll never know - maybe the database repair will break the database completely, and then even a support ticket would be of no use anymore.

Maybe it's happened in the past, but I don't recall database repair breaking one completely...

On the topic, I've experienced this before and the Database Repair should fix the problem.
