I have a new issue with my DVD Profiler, I get a window that opens tempnote.html asking me to open or save just about every time I go to do anything with my Profiler. Does anyone know what that is and how to get rid of it?

Reinstalling Internet Explorer should resolve the issue.

I use Firefox and just recently upgraded it. Is DVDP not FF friendly?

As I understand the situation DVDP uses some of the IE code for certain functions whatever browser you actually use.
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

Usually this gets fixed doing the following:

Temporarily set IE as default browser again (via Windows control panel -> Program Defaults)
Restart
Set FF as default browser again

Problem should be gone now.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
