| Posted: | | | | First problem: Profiler doesn't seem to be handling "count as" correctly, at least for sorting and filtering purposes.
One of my custom lists is for items I no longer own, and so I set "count as" to zero for items moved or created there.
Now Profiler is telling me that this list which should have zero items has TWO films, but when I sort on "count as" the sort seems to be ineffective in terms of moving the entry which needs to be edited to the top.
----
I also don't want this this custom list to have collection numbers. I set the options for no collection numbers then added a bunch of items, and then somehow many of them share an identical collection number.
How can I blank these collection numbers out all at one go?
I've got over a thousand titles with this problem, so it would really be tedious to do one at a time, and I can't figure out how to do this just using the "reassign collection number" button.
Right now the only way I know how to do it is to set "allow collection numbers" for the custom list and then edit each profile one at a time. |

| Posted: | | | | For Count As: Select a profile that you know is 'right' (has Count As=0) Select DVD -> Copy Flag all the profiles you wish to have the same status Collection -> Flagged -> Paste Tick only the Count As box (and Confirm at the top) and OK | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

Any ideas about clearing collection numbers for all the DVDs in a particular list? |
