| Posted: | | | | Hello, after updating from 3.8 to 3.8.1 i am getting this error: I was trying to use the database repair with the same result (error). So i decided to create an empty one and download my collection from my uploaded collection, but it ended with downloading the "online profile list" (10 parts) again and again, because dvd profiler needs it befor any other things... So both versions i tried are not longer working ? *panic* Thankful for every hint or tip... Michael |

| Posted: | | | | Strange. I would expect an error like this when downgrading to 3.7.x Are you sure you used the correct installer? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Yes - checked it again - it was the 3.8.1 (Build 1535) downloaded from the same link you posted... |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Lewis_Prothero: Quote: I would expect an error like this when downgrading to 3.7.x The database has changed between 3.8 and 3.8.1 regarding color (a few bool flags instead of one integer field). My guess is, that it tries to convert the old Color_color field to the new flags, but it was already done and the database was not marked as upgraded. | | |

| Posted: | | | | A couple days with support and all went fine :-) The only way to solve the problem: - Select File->Open Database, New Database. Enter a new name and click OK. - Open this new created database. - Restore your backup database into this new database So the direct way into the default database always ended with errors, the way with a fresh created database goes fine :-) *solved* |
