I wouldn't worry if this was a one-time thing, but if it keeps happening, then come back for more advice. I make this specific recommendation based on past experience with Vista. Restart was often the safest way to go. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

| Posted: | | | | This message usually appears in Network environments if another client is already accessing the database.
So to fix this do as mediadogg suggested, but for all possibly connected hardware in your network. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | OK,
some deeper research: I t seems that the error is not DVDProfiler related, but something's messed up in Vista.
Sometimes this gets solved by: 1) Create a new Admin account 2) Check if it works from there 3) If "Yes" move all personal files to the new admin account 3) Delete the "Old" account (Make sure to keep the personal files of the deleted account) | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! 3) If "Yes" move all personal files to the new admin account Move "what" to "where"? You're not suggesting that he should use his computer as an Administrator? |

No. I'm suggesting to create a new account which at first (for testing purposes only) should be an Admin account. The new account is required to exclude faulty user settings as the source of his problem. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
