| | Posted: | | | | I see horizontal bands of yellow going through the video of almost every episode of Three's Company.
This isn't just on the DVD releases but also on re-runs on TV.
I saw these years ago on my old TV, but it's still there on my HDTV.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the show being on videotape. |

| | Posted: | | | | Probably. Shows converted to video before it reached broadcast quality. The bands are probably a result of tape wear or deterioration before it was copied to a more stable medium. |
