| Posted: | | | | I'm new and I like to fidget. I've searched this forum to no avail or at least what helps.
I want to organize and be able to print my collection in some semblance of order. (it can be listed in either by genre, or A-Z)
Rather then have to select each genre and then print a report, can't I have a report be able to do this or even A-Z? One that will print what is described as action, animation, war and so on?
Just how do I want to organize my collection? By genre, holiday, horror, comedy...ext?
Just not getting from to there on this forum or playing around with it. I believe it can be done, someone want to turn on the light bulb for me?
Make sense? |

| Posted: | | | | just 'filter' your collection by what genre you want then> flag them , and then go to 'reports'( flag only) and print .. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | Right-click on the column header of the collection list and enable the colum Genre.
The sort ascending by it. The second sort column is always implicitly the Sort Name.
Then run a report "as filtered / sorted in collection list". | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
