iPad app and it's backup via itunes

All the information, collections, users.... Are backedcvia iTunes to the pc so that I can restore all the environment in case of a crash?

Yes, all the information is stored in the backup. But you can't restore DVDP specifically from the backup. You will need to restore your iOS device from the backup.

Exactly. I had DVDProfiler on my iPad 2. Sold it, got an iPad 3, connected and restored it from the backup and all DVDProfiler related things are back again as also all others. Works perfect, no full new sync needed.
