Or you can wait until DVDP for iOS supports syncing with the online database. It has been announced as an upcoming feature, but nobody knows when that feature will be implemented. It could arrive in the next few weeks or the next few years. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the precisons. I tried the following but it did not work
1-Installed DVDP on my PC (free version) 2-Connected the iPad to my PC 3-On my PC, I pushed the button (Syn on the menu of DVDP. That gives the following error message:
"Connection Timed-out Please make sure your Pocket PC is connected via Mobile Device Manager and try again"
What should I do in order to make the iPad to communicate with the DVDP on my PC ? |

What should I do in order to make the iPad to communicate with the DVDP on my PC ? the main thing is to start the SYNC from the IOS version. You have tried to sync with the windows mobile version of dvd profiler - which is why it asked you to connect the Pocket | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |

| Posted: | | | | You will probably also need to change your database on the iPad from a local database to a shared database. Go to "Databases" - "Default" (or whatever your database is called) and you should get the option to connect to the PC. Use the integrated help feature there to find out the necessary settings. |
