Example, I have the first two seasons of Angel and then bought the complete box set so don't need/want/have room for the original purchases.
I know Amazon is doing this now for credit. Any other suggestions?

If you just want to get rid of them and don't expect to get a lot of money, Half-Price Books or any local pawn shop. Expect to get at max $5 a season. Could be lower. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

You could also become an Amazon Seller. The registration is very simple. Then you can sell anything that is available in the Amazon database (even stuff that is no longer being offered for sale by anybody else - if you find a page in the Google cache, it still works). You set your own price, select the condition and optional notes. Then just sit back and wait. When/if you get a sale, you ship it and Amazon puts the money in whatever account you set up, or they send you a check. I love it. I've sold a bunch of totally obsolete electronics in pristine condition. Buyers were thrilled, and I got easy cash. | | Posted: | | | | For more common, not rare or valuable stuff I've been using swapadvd. You don't get $, but you get a credit and can order stuff you do want, or wait for it if not available at the time. If you sign up say bigdaddyhorse sent you, I'll get an extra credit for referral.  I've got a few great things from there like Caged Heat despite them being OOP and more valuable on other used sites, so it's not only crap being swapped but all kinds of stuff. Blu-rays are 2 credits but usually have longer wait lists. Boxsets are 1 credit per dvd, 2 per BD. Also check if there's any record stores that deal in used dvds around you. FYE is most common, but local shops are good too. Most aren't buying around here, but they have to be buying somewhere. |

There's also www.thedigitalfix.com (based in UK but I think there are members from US), and on the forums there is a popular selling thread. |
