I bought a digital8 camera that plays the older hi8/video8 formats. I also have ADVC 55, that can convert analog signal to digital. I have a PC program that can record the digital input. So;
Should i let the camcorder do the transfer to digital, or would it be better to use the ADVC 55?
When i get the files digitized, I'll need to burn them as DVD video. Anyone know what software to use for this? I don't really need menus or anything like that. |

| | Posted: | | | | Personally, I'd just use a digital 8 camera. This will make a huge file, but it's very low loss. You can then further convert it to whatever format you need. |
