RedLaser barcode scanner for iPhone can read barcodes and export them via e-mail. Can I read a list of scanned barcodes into DVD Profiler?

Thanks!

I found in another mail that it is possible to use RedLaser iPhone app to scan, and then send as an e-mail to the pc. The attached file imports straigth into DVD Profiler!

Great!

Maybe I misunderstood your question, but why don't you simply scan with the app DVDP uses for scanning barcodes (Pic2Shop, which should be automatically downloaded when you try scanning the barcode) and sync the iPhone database with your PC database ?

Although new to the iOS version, I just used it to scan 5 titles I bought and it was seamless, easy, and much quicker than entering UPC 's by hand on the PC.  Now, of course, I didn't come across a title that isn't already in the Invelos Database, so I don't know what would happen there.

Also, I was very impressed with the PC sync feature of iOS.  If you have no changes on the iPhone the send option is gray out... otherwise it incorporates any portable changes right to it.

the only application which is compatible with the iphone version is Pic2Shop (free version).

even if you buy the paid for version you must download the free version for this to work.

Yeah, using RedLaser is nice (I have it), but it seems quite pointless.  Why wouldn't you add profiles directly to your iPhone app as intended instead of doing this strange work around?

For the record, I also don't get the fuss about scanning.  I've done it.  It's fun, but I think I can type in UPCs plenty fast.  For a single addition, I'd be shocked if I couldn't type it in before I could scan it.  Oh well.  That's just me.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

I do not know much about barcode. But as for barcode solution, I know a good site. I used their Java Class barcode generator library. It's cool. The settings of barcode images in Java are supported.  Many kinds of barcode readers can also be found there. Professional site.

there are many ways to do that. If you wanna save these complicated steps and find a easy way, you can google barcode scanner and you will find many useful tools, or google how to read barcode in c# to get instructive articles. Good luck I think some imaging sdk programmes can enable to quickly scan barcodes. i have use imaging sdkr which can original layouts hyperlinks, Images and tables retained in word ,text, image, Epub, html.but i forgot download the wedsite ,go to google. By the way , pay attention to your system platform, select the suitable one . I use a barcode scanner driver found on the internet . Install it and it becomes a selectable option. Then you can scan barcodes in many formats in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat . Just open the sdk, select barcode, and choice a form you want, then you can scan barcode in c#, vb, sdp ,etc ,the task will be finished in several seconds. if you haven't found a good choice , you can have a try. best wishes.

I've had this app for a long time. Originally, I downloaded it to scan barcodes. It would let me scan the barcode and then do things with the data. I used it occasionally for inventorying stuff. Now the current version is a "shopping" app. I don't want you to search for the barcode I just scanned and show me prices and where to buy it. The lists I'm making aren't shopping lists, they're just lists of things.
