If I remember correct, there are no region-free BluRay-Players. But there are existing some modded models, perhaps some users can make you recommendations.

I can recommend Kogan Bluray player, as they are code free all you have to do is use the pin and change zones. So far I have bought 2, one not wi-fi and then a second wi-fi capable.

Oppo makes some good ones, but you have to mod them yourself. The mods are very easy to install and requires no soldering or anything like that. It's literally plug-and-play and if you've ever installed RAM or any kind of expansion card in a computer you can install one of the mods.

Click here for a bunch of resources on Oppo players and region modding them.

Just ordered this one and it should arrive tomorrow.  My old region-free DVD player died and I already had several Region B Blu-rays that only worked on my laptop (with software that overrode the coding), so I decided to make a full upgrade.

Somewhat true.  I actually just ordered an Oppo BDP-93 with the mod chip installed yesterday from SolutionsAV in Toronto.  The price for the Mod was actually cheaper than what I've seen it on it's own.  I should get it today!!

I have an unused mod kit for the BDP-83 if anyone is interested, because mine came with one pre-installed as well.

Ah, yes, fair enough. Some vendors do sell them pre-modded. Out of curiosity, do Solutions AV offer a warranty that replaces the Oppo warranty, or will you need to remove the mod yourself if you want warranty services?
