I have an A/V receiver question. 10 years ago I had a Yamaha DSP-A595a. I really loved the sound of this receiver, but when I decided to get ready for Blu-Ray beginning 2008, I purchased an Onkyo TX-SR705 receiver. While this receiver produces very good sound, in my opinion, it lacks in spacial representation. I've completed the speaker setup for 7.1, but I still feel my old Yamaha had a better 5.1 feel. I've replaced 2 speakers with better quality, ran calibration numerous times, but I can't get the sound I want.

So, I'm looking to go back to Yamaha, and I've got my eye on the RX-V1067. Any owners here who would like to comment ?
