I realize this first item has probably been asked for in the IVS forums, but it can't hurt to ask for it again 

1. Would be useful for an topic author to be able to edit the Subject of a topic.

These next requests probably require considerable more work...
2. Built in rating system. For instance; Rate this topic (Reader choice of the topics usefulness. Rating could be between 1 to 5). Filter by rated topics. Sort forum (ascending/descending) by rating.
3. On occasion I've seen topic authors that could use a delete topic function. Same for posts/replies.
4. Ability for an author of a topic to invite other users to edit the topics first post. Indefinite/Time limit/Remove user from invited user list.

3. On occasion I've seen topic authors that could use a delete topic function. Same for posts/replies. Would be nice to delete your posts but not first posts in a thread if it would delete everyone else's posts in the thread.

Ability to edit poll options! Toss out the votes and start over maybe. But I've posted polls before with incorrect options and had to start a new one. 

The first step to take against abuse, would be to only enable these requests for a registered user that have payed for one of the products.

This is a example of a topic that is more annoying than useful, thus it could be deleted. Topics like this probably shows up in search results as well. My initial request no 3 was for these kinds of topic only, where the reply post count is 0. I forgot to explain that. 
But, In stead of a "Delete this topic" function there could be a simple "Delete this topic" checkbox that the author of the topic can tick. This would merely be a flag to Invelos (no need to send pm's back and forth). Ken and/or Gerri could then filter out topics marked for deletion and decide for them self if to actually delete it. Also this checkbox should only be available if a) the author is in edit mode of the initial post and b) the reply post count is 0, in a topic.
