I have given this long consideration and I think Blu-ray with a 3D version of the movie is not really a new format but rather a feature on the disc (the format remains Blu-ray). Therefore, I would prefer Ken adds a '3D' logo in the features (or perhaps a pair of glasses as visual icon) to identify the disc has a HD3D version encoded on it.

This would also need to be implemented in the desktop software!

I bought the 3D version of A Christmas Carol which includes a 3D Blu-ray and a regular Blu-ray. I insert it into my PS3 (with the latest update that supports 3D), it recognizes it as 3D version, but will not do anything, because it tells me I don't have the necessary equipment. To me that makes it different from a regular Blu-ray. Just my 2 cents.

I have to agree with Taro, it is still a Blu-ray.  An R2 Blu-ray won't play in my system, but that doesn't make it a different format.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Given that logic, I also like Taro's proposal better.
