| Posted: | | | | There are a couple of UI changes I would make.
- When browsing through different browse options, a bar pops up at the bottom that takes the user all the way back to the browse menu... this is unnecessary because the user can simply tap on the "browse" icon again and it will take them back to the same place. I feel iPhone users are used to this action and so that "all the way back" button can be ditched for more screen space.
- When the upper right button is pressed within a browse menu, it currently brings up "change sort order" and "Print report". Sometimes is also brings up "Change display style". I feel it should always have "change display style" and should add "Filter" as well.
- In the "add by UPC" section, it would be nice if there was a quick link to the "add by Title" section for those times you come upon a movie without a UPC while adding a bunch of titles to your collection.
- If the "Filter" button is added to the icon that looks like an arrow coming out of a box used in the upper right corner, then the filter search icon can be removed from the collection top bar, de-cluttering that space a little.
- When browsing via the browse breakdowns, the box sets are shown un nested. I think it would be nicer to see instead either just the movies that match the filter/browse and NOT the box set itself, OR to leave them nested, and when you unnest the box set yourself, you only see the movies that come up in the search result. (I actually like the second method better, but would be ok with either.)
I guess some of these fall into the feature requests rather than UI changes, but eh. There it is. |

| Posted: | | | | Something that I noticed is that on the iPhone, when you select to change the sort order, you click "Done" to activate the sort. There's no "Done" on the iPad. In order to activate the sort, you have to click the sort order button again. | | | ...James
