| Posted: | | | | I am running DVDP in a remote desktop. The error occurs when the dialog for adding DVDs to my collection is displayed and the remote desktop is minimized.
This is with DVDP 3.7.0 Build 1426 |

| Posted: | | | | Tried to add my NY gift DVDs and having exactly the same problem. I clicked the Add DVD icon and then was flooded with a few dozen Win32 Error Code 6 popups. Probably no coincidence that I'm also running DVD Profiler through Remote Desktop.
PS: I am using 3.7.1 and in addition I actually also added DVDs on Xmas day and had no problem then (also through Remote Desktop).
Edit: as stated by GMan4911, the problem indeed only triggers when I minimize my Remote Desktop session. As long as I stay in my RDP session, everything works fine. This probably explains why I didn't have any issues on Xmas. | | | Last edited: by hevanw |

This is with DVDP 3.7.0 Build 1426 Current product is: 3.7.1 (Build 1436) Not much use in posting bugs against old versions when upgrades are free! Edit: I now see Repter's report. Seems like an issue. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

| Posted: | | | | I have an open support ticket for this issue. I have also upgraded to the latest release and the problem is still there.
One thing that I forgot to mention was that the final screen asks to send an error report to Invelos. When I click OK, I get an HTTP error.
Tech support wants me to boot my remote PC in safe mode with networking to see if the problem persists. However, I am not able to open a remote desktop into the remote PC when it is booted in safe mode with networking. So I am stuck until I get that resolved.
Repter, can you give that a try and report back your findings? |

Can't/Won't try the safe mode thing with the remote machine. First of all, since we both have it, it seems very unlikely that it's a problem with our remote machine. Plus, this is my home server which runs multiple services and it has neither a screen nor a keyboard so it would be too much of a hassle to reboot it in safe mode. As long as no one is reporting that he doesn't have a problem with RDP and minimizing it, I won't assume it's a problem with our computers. |
