| Posted: | | | | Let me just say that I love the app...Great job Ken.....
After installing the app and doing the initial sync, I added a dvd and then tried to "Update Collection". the app crashes when I hit the "Update" button every time. I tried rebooting my iphone and desktop, but this did not help. the desktop version says that there is "1 connected".
Any thoughts? | | | Frank |

| Posted: | | | | Likewise in terms of loving the app, but same problem in syncing after adding a new title on the ipad. After hitting the update button I get a tick beside 'connecting', but before anything happens with 'sending' the app crashes. Any ideas? |

| Posted: | | | | When I attempt to "Connect and update your collection?" for the first time, it crashes every time on the iPhone 3GS. It gets to about 25% of the bar on "reading database," then crashes back to the phone's main screen. |

| Posted: | | | | I've noticed that when it gets to that 25% mark, my desktop DVD Profiler suddenly hangs for a second and the taskbar adds (Not Responding). After about two seconds, that disappears and the app crashes. |

| Posted: | | | | I tried to sync it instead on my laptop (where I have the same database mirrored), but the exact same crash occurs. |

| Posted: | | | | I think I found the problem: the size of the collection. I flagged everything from to the letter C to Z and excluded it from the iPhone, so that only about 2500 profiles (#-B) would be loaded and it made it past the "Reading database" status to "Copying profiles". Unfortunately, after a few minutes it came up with this error: Quote: There was an error synchronizing: *** - [NSConcreteMutableData subdataWithRange:] range {8, 4} exceeds data length 8 |

| Posted: | | | | I have the same problem as parrothead001. I am running it on an iPhone 3GS iOS 4.2.1 and connecting by WIFI. Everytime I try to update the database the App crashed. Rebooted iPhone and PC.. Allow Changes from Remote cliënts is on.. Database connection is there, it passes the Connecting step, but it's crashing right after.
Is there anything more I can try? | | | Last edited: by spoodoo |

| Posted: | | | | I had problems with the initial sync too. I rebooted my phone (by holding the top button down till I get the slide to shut off message), then it worked great after a restart. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | Didn't work for me Just tried it again but no luck. I scanned 3 blu-rays with my iPhone.. and I want them at my pc.. So I use the update collection and after connection has been made.. it crashed immediately. |

| Posted: | | | | My crash problem is a bit different.
On the initial update it made it through all the profiles and about 90% of the images before the app aborted.
On subsequent update attempts it crashes immediately when it gets to the images part of the update.
I tried rebooting my phone, to no avail. |

| Posted: | | | | We'll be monitoring crash reports from Apple's development site and using them to track these issues down. For those getting an error, please post the message here. If the app closes, we'll automatically get a report via Apple. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the effort Ken. I thought I tried everything, but I just had the idea to Delete and redownload the app. Now everything works again. Sorry for the trouble! | | | Last edited: by spoodoo |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks Ken. I mentioned something in another thread, but I'll put it here again so it doesn't get missed.
I was playing around with the different looks last night. Tried out Simple. Click on a blue arrow to go into a box set and the app crashed. When I started it up again, it seems like it was trying to display that same data again and crashed again. After a few tries, I killed the app from the multitasking bar and it still crashed. Took a full reboot of the phone before it started behaving properly.
I was too excited playing with the app to do further testing. So I don't know if this is a re-producible bug or a problem with the data (though I did a database repair just before loading my collection for the first time). | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. I tried rebooting my phone, to no avail. I'm getting this exact problem with both my 3GS and iPad 64g running iOS 4.21. I've rebuilt the database and cleaned the image directory without any effect. I think about 30% of covers copied over before my iPhone and iPad crashed. | | | My Home Theater |
