| Posted: | | | | Just entered my first 60 discs. That was easy enough with my barcode scanner. I have 3 questions:
My cabinet has hor/vert/front/rear dividers, and I want to number as A-FRONT, A-REAR, B-FRONT etc. I can add that manually in "personal details", but is there a way to enter it as default until the cubical is full, then change it to the next?
Left are the cover pics. Do I really have to double click a pic to open the details? Enter does not work. Hopefully there's a shortcut? Already found out Ctrl-Enter closes the details windows.
Have one "empty" DVD in the left cover window, with no details at all. How can I delete it? DEL does not work, and I could find nothing on r-click...
Thanks! | | | Last edited: by barend |

| Posted: | | | | Hi,
I don't know of any way to set a default location. Using the BulkEdit plugin makes it simple to enter the same personal information into multiple profiles. After flagging the appropriate profiles you start BulkEdit and enter the data into a single profile and then have BulkEdit copy it to the rest.
Not sure what you mean by "Left are the cover pics." My guess is that you are referring to a specific layout and that the "Collection List" is displaying "Thumbnails". If that is the case, most layouts have icons displayed in the "Toolbar" that allows you to "Personalize" or "Edit" of a Profile with a single click.
I don't know to what you're referring to by empty DVD.
Please respond to this with your results positive or negative or whatever so that anyone searching the forum in the future with a similar problem may benefit.
Good luck, Jim F. |

Already found out Ctrl-Enter closes the details windows. Ctrl+E for Details Ctrl+P for jumping directly into the personnel deatails. (Perhaps this also helps you to enter you location a bit faster) Quote: Have one "empty" DVD in the left cover window, with no details at all. How can I delete it? | Posted: | | | | One thing that I have started doing is that because I was finding it time consuming to enter the same details for the location in a lot of my profiles ("Tv Shelf") - I changed and used a tag for the same purpose. I found this much quicker - and you may find it does just as well for you. | | | Paul |
