| Posted: | | | | Hi all,
First post here. After reading a few of the iphone/ippad posts.
I wanted to let those of you that might not be aware, there are a couple apps named "My Movies Rack" for $1.99 and "My Movies Rack Free" for of course free that will download your published movie list on your iPhone.
It has basic filtering, thumbnails, synopsis and basic info like genre, running time, etc. It is a nice solution until something more full featured comes out. |

| Posted: | | | | Yes I have bought it to keep me waiting until I can get the real one (from Invelos). This is a for me a temporary solution (but at least there is one), just to be able to have a simple look at my database. But there are still some basic bugs like not always downloading the cover images or DvD details... Like almost all of you I am eager to finally get the invelos' one (from France here...). Cheers guys |

| Posted: | | | | i tried My Movie Rack even paying for it. It is OK however I have decided to just use iSilox & iSilo to carry my collection with me on both my iPod Touch, and my Android. When the App becomes available I will use it, till now there are various options.

| Posted: | | | | My Movies Rack stopped working for me some months ago, but it started working again when I gave up and installed iOS4 despite all the horror stories. It'll do for now, but the letter index still doesn't work right. At least the filtering is a lot faster now. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | Would anyone know if My Movie Rack actually downloads the list of movies onto your phone or do you have to have internet connection each time you use it. |

It downloads info you have uploaded to the on-line collection hosted by invelos. You need a connection (via wi-fi) to do this initially, and to update the collection stored in the phone. Not sure if it works via 3G. I haven't tried since my collection is fairly big. It's not the best solution, but it does me until something better somes along.... | | | Last edited: by johnd |
