Just curious if anyone knows of a web site where you can enter title information on a DVD (or CD or any product for that matter) and see if a UPC or EAN code exists for that product.  I have many DVDs that have no barcodes, although they are commercial products.

Thanks,

Seth

This is what Profiler is good at. Put the DVD in, click on the Add DVD button, select the Add By Inserted Disc tab, and if the Disc ID is in the database, it should bring up a list of profiles that match.

Otherwise Add By Title and search that way

If there is no UPC symbol/bar code on the disc the odds of finding one on a web site is slim.  Discs can also be entered using the disc ID (insert the disc while Profiler is running).

You may not find an existing profile but you can create one.  If you want to submit it, after paying for a license, please review the Rules, that hopefully provide consistent profiles online.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!
