| Posted: | | | | I have 3.6.1 build 1392. I have 103 DVD entered. Now when I try just about ANYTHING, the program freezes (locks up). Some of the things I can't do... Add a DVD, Tools->Options...
Things I have tried. Repair Database startup in default mode (hold ALT,CTRL key) delete default layout file (found this in another thread that I can't post to)
I can't post to the normal forum because I haven't paid for a full license. I am NOT going to pay for a full license if I can't even add DVDs without the program locking up.
Any help would be appreciated.

| Posted: | | | | I don't have any extra plugins installed. Only what comes with the standard install.
This shouldn't matter now, I start up in "Diagnostic Startup" and "Do not load plugins" "use a default layout" and "Do not perform the check for new versions"
I'm just adding (trying) DVDs to my collection. I went way past 50 and didn't have any problems until now. I could understand a problem if this happened right after I hit 50, but I'm at 103 now.

| Posted: | | | | Could you please check whether the Tahoma font is installed on your system (search for Tahoma.ttf)? DVD Profiler needs this font to be installed. |

I am using VPN to my work, but I've been doing that way since I installed the software. Nothing (that I know of) has changed on my machine, network, etc. from when DVD Profiler was working till now. It literally worked fine and then the next time I tried to add a DVD, the program locks up. I am about to try and uninstall/install. I've backed up my database. I am assuming that uninstall will NOT remove my backup, is that correct? Ron |

Ron No, it won't remove the back up. But to be sure, you could do a copy of the backup file to a different drive and/or to an external drive/usb stick. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

| Posted: | | | | I uninstalled and re-installed and everything is working now. When I uninstalled, I said to leave database and when I restarted after re-install, all my DVDs showed back up.
