Boot Camp starts an autark Windows on a Mac Hardware. I'm pretty sure it works.

Yes, I use DVDP on my Boot Camped Macbook.

When running Windows under Boot Camp, the Mac is effectively a normal Windows machine. Yes DVDP runs just fine.
