| Posted: | | | | I stumbled across a "problem" I have not been able to resolve for quite some time now. Maybe someone here has some insight.
I currently have a total of 17 DVDs listed as Total DVDs in my Ordered-Tab, but only 16 are showing and this is also the number listed at Filtered.
So I thought, easy to solve, somehow some kind of filtering has been activated, so I just have to clear all filters. Unfortunately this does not help.
Collection->Clear all Filters does not change anything on the situation. I've tried more or less everything I could with flagging, un-flagging, clearing filters etc. I could come up with. I temporarily removed all DVDs from the Ordered-Tab to see if that would change anything (or if one of the DVDs somehow got handled as two), but of course one invisible DVD remained. I even did a complete database-repair to see if that would solve the problem. No luck there as well.
Is anyone out there who has another idea I could try to get rid of this DVD? Of course this invisible DVD does also get imported into the 3.6 Beta via a complete backup-file. So there must be a real database-entry behind that. |

| Posted: | | | | It is likely being hidden by Parental Control settings. Check this under Tools->Options->Parental Control. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | The only thing I can think of is do you have the program set not to show adult titles? Note that for DVD Profiler that Adult doesn't automatically mean porn it could be from the rating of the movie... or if someone has the genre as adult when you downloaded it. Check by going to...
Tools --> Options --> Parental Control
And check the top right corner. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the quick answers. Unfortunately it did not work. I did not check parental control at first since it should be deactivated, because I am the only one having access to my local db I now have it set Adult ratings Only (sine I am required to enter anything there) and have "Allow adult titles" activated without having the two Hide-options activated. And I clicked on "Remove Parental Control". Unfortunately no change |

| Posted: | | | | Do the following:
1) Create a Backup via the File menu. 2) Create a new Database via the File->Open Database menu 3) Choose to restore the Backup via the File menu 4) DON'T make a full restore but instead choose to select the profiles. On the top you'll find an empty one, uncheck it 5) Done | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

That did the trick. Thanks a lot. Any ideas how those empty profiles are created? So if it is a user error (pebcak), perhaps there is a way to prevent it? Thanks again | | | Last edited: by hpopp |

| Posted: | | | | Seems to happen with every user at one time or another. Happened to me once, too. No idea what caused it. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
