| Posted: | | | | It won't show any of the mini previews anymore and it won't download the info for the movie anymore. I did check my internet connection and it's perfectly fine. For some reason, it won't connect to the Invelos database anymore. I figured last night it was because of the maintenance. But, as of now, it's still giving me the same prob. Anyone know what's going on?? |

Alternatively try to reboot
If it doesn't help wait a day or so until your internet provider has updates its DNS tables. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Quoting Ken Cole: Quote: If you're still getting the old IP for invelos.com (74.53.166.114), DVD Profiler won't be able to communicate with the server. Once the new IP (75.125.61.130) is resolving, it should work fine.
To find out, run "PING www.invelos.com".
A reboot may resolve the issue, but depending on the status of your DNS server's update, it may take a bit longer. For the adventurous among you, you can bypass the problem immediately by adding the following line to your hosts file:
75.125.61.130 www.invelos.com
The hosts file is in your Windows directory under system32\drivers\etc\, and is named simply "hosts". It is a text file that can be edited in notepad.
After a day or so, be sure to go back and remove that line. |
