| Posted: | | | | I just acquired a collection of 5,000 DVDs. I would like to include them in my DVD Profiler collection in the most efficient manner.
Is there a plugin that would allow me to bulk scan upc barcodes? Scanned UPC codes would be stored on the hand scanner until downloaded to my PC into DVD Profiler.
Any assistance with getting my new collection organized quickly would be appreciated. Thank you. |

If you have multiple "localities" in your collection (DVDs prepared for retail sale in a particular country), the advantage of UPC Import is that you can set the locality for a sequence of UPC codes. With BulkEdit, you have to append the locality to each UPC individually. With both methods, once the UPCs are loaded in, you will have a set of skeleton profiles that will get fleshed out after you refresh from the Invelos database. Accurate application of the locality will reduce the number of errors and manual tweaking that you will have to do, during the refresh process. You might also want to review the DVD Profiler features list and note the advantages of purchasing a license. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
