| Posted: | | | | Great...guess I will have to be patient and wait it out. I don't really want to use another program to store my collection on my phone. I have looked at others, and they just don't look as nice, or have many good features like DVDP.
thanks |

| Posted: | | | | Can you tell us how far ahead on the horizon the iphone app might be? Are we talking weeks or months?
I did find an app called myMovies that will allow importing of the DVDP database (although convoluted to do so) but I'd rather have a dedicated DVDP app. | | | Last edited: by hudson2001 |

| Posted: | | | | Typically, releases come out on Mondays. Typically, we don't know which Monday until that Monday arrives. We do know there's an Alpha release of the DVDP main application out now, no idea about an Alpha version of the iPhone app.
We do know that Ken is being very tight-lipped on the iPhone version as to not give away details to the competition. He has said, however, that it will blow them away. |

| Posted: | | | | Wow... the old release come out on Monday discussion again..... Well Mondays are about 6 months apart typically.
I've been a loyal user of DVD Profiler (and mobile) for many years. I am waiting anxiously for the Iphone version as well. I have looked at competitor sw, only because I no longer use a windows mobile phone and need to carry my collection of 2000+ dvds and 300+ bluray's on something portable.
The online database just doesn't cut it for me on the safari browser, so please try to release something soon. I'll even alpha the s/w for you. I have a jailbroken Iphone 3gs and all the tools to install the app directly, without Itunes. |

| Posted: | | | | Bookmark your online collection in Safari. It's not perfect, but it's better than a ream of A4 pages.
Another way would be to run a report to a pdf and use "discover" to open the pdf. Still no search, but another paperless option |

......Monday.... And Tuesday it will be pulled again because Apple find out DVD Profiler allows storing cover images with naked people on the phone. | | | Regards Lars |

| Posted: | | | | Like I said in this post, for wait for the complete official iPhone version, I made iMovies Collection a small application juste to read your collection on iPhone. It's just to get your public collection on iPhone. So if your public collection is on : http://invelos.com/DVDCollection.aspx/toto Put "toto" as your identifier and retrieve all your movies on your iPhone. You can only read your collection (not add/remove a movie) It's not perfect. Do not hesitate to send me a message in this website if you find a bug. Samuel |

| Posted: | | | | I just downloaded the iMovies Collection, and was pleased when I just had to put in my DVD Profiler name and it downloaded them all.
Only being able to read them is OK with me as I now have something to check my movies against when I see them in the shops.
Thank You for making this app. Well worth the price. :-) |

This isn't an official Invelos app (that is in the works) so I don't think he has access to the sort name because it is not shown on the online page. for that same reason he can't provide location\slot -Agrare |
