| Posted: | | | | I've never yet encountered this problem before... I'm trying to submit an update for the Blu-ray of My Name is Bruce (014381-509755) I've submitted two seperate contributions today, and both are still showing up in my contribution submissions. Neither of the contributions were cancelled, and the second contribution submission did not overwrite the first contribution as would be the normal case. Here is a screengrab of what I mean. Neither of those contributions appear for voting under All Pending Updates. Also, I generally try to manually test my submissions to check for any errors such as a missed check box, etc. with this method: http://www.invelos.com/Database.aspx?task=evaluate&id=XXXXXXXThe X's being substituted with the contribution ID. The two evaluation ID's (if anyone else owns this release) are: http://www.invelos.com/MyProfiler.aspx?display=contributions&task=votes&id=965177http://www.invelos.com/MyProfiler.aspx?display=contributions&task=votes&id=965185When I check that with either contribution I've submitted for this profile, I get this: Quote: Unable to evaluate the selected contribution
The selected contribution cannot be evaluated since it has already been processed by the Invelos contribution evaluation team. Now, the title IS uploaded into my online collection, so that's obviously not the problem here. i.e. not a part of your owned collection. I'm stumped here, am I overlooking something obvious or is this a glitch that Ken or Gerri need to address? | | | Corey | | | Last edited: by Katatonia |

| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure what your saying the problem is, but a) you can't generally get to the contribution screen for profiles you contribute (there is a round about way but since you can't vote for them it doesn't really let you) but more along what your showing is b) once the contribution has been processed you can't view the evaluation screen anymore. even after it's processed and accepted it will still show on your contribution screen for a few days (maybe even a week or two) but you can't view it. If the data is showing in your online that won't mean anything because all the data, except the images, come from your local data that is updated

-Agrare No, I'm aware of all of that. I stated the alterate way of how you can arrive to the evaluation screen for your own contributions. It's just an easy way of checking if everything you thought you included (i.e. forgetting to check a box) actually was submitted correctly. The problem is that neither contribution appears to be valid. i.e. it cannot be evaluated by anyone, whether it be myself or another voter. There are two seperate "Received" contributions from myself showing for this same title, neither of which were withdrawn and they both appear to be corrupted somehow. For example: you can't submit a contribution for a profile, and then submit another again to that same profile a few minutes later without it "overwriting" the previous contribution that you had submitted a few minutes before. I'm speaking of pending contributions, not approved/declined/released contributions. After a contribution has been either approved/declined/rejected you wouldn't be able to see any evaluation screen. | | | Corey | | | Last edited: by Katatonia |

| Posted: | | | | Can you withdraw either submission? Maybe it was a fluke, and you need to restart.
I would try to withdraw, then resubmit a clean contribution... |

I would try to withdraw, then resubmit a clean contribution... I withdrew both contributions and submitted a clean contribution (twice) and the same problem occurred. I then tried it again and removed the unaccepted "Birth Year" that was previously approved in the profile for Bruce Campbell, and it worked fine. Very bizarre that a BY was causing the corruption...even if it was unaccepted and required a check box confirmation. | | | Corey |

I'm now convinced of it. I've experienced the same bug in another Blu-ray contribution which had an "unapproved" BY in it already. It appears that you have to remove any unapproved BY's already present in a profile now if you submit Cast/Crew changes, or your contribution will run into this error. Or perhaps it's a Blu-ray profile specific problem... | | | Corey |

Happened to me for a DVD too, it seems that the contribution gets split up into cast/crew (depending on where the new BY is located) and the rest of the contribution. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
