Hello everyone. I have a 50" plasma that I have hung on the wall. I am going to run some wiring to it through the wall but had I question. I need to run power and some video cable sort of close to each other and I'm worried about the video cables getting some sort of interferance from the power cable. The video lines I need to run are coax, component, composite. They will be running near each other for 4 feet to 6 feet. I will also have some speaker wire that will run near it but that will be less then 2 feet. When I say near I'm talking about 3 or 4 inches.
Thank you for your help.

What sort of video cable are you using? If it's HDMI, it will be fine.

it is not very safe to run the power cable behind the wall... instead the outlet should be professionally moved to behind the tv and the cable managed to the mount... this reduces the risk of fire and keeps you up to most US fire codes... and eliminates the chance of interference.

I didn't mean the power cable from the tv. I ment going to Home Depot and getting the wiring and tapping into the closest outlet. Then putting a new one behind the tv to plug into. I will follow all codes and make sure it is safe.
