| Posted: | | | | I'm having trouble installing Mobile Profiler on my HTC S740 (Smartphone - no Touchscreen).
DVDPM actually installs fine, but an error emerges about .net framework. Something about it needs 2.0 and I have a newer version installed.
What I can't figure out is what to do from here. It seems .net needs to be installed on my PC also... so I'm confused - and why does it need an older version?
Anyone able to help me out?
Very frustrating - I finally bought a Windows Mobile phone after complaining about not being able to install DVDPM on my Nokia E65 Symbian phone and now it doesn't work in WM either. Am I just being an ass or what ;-) |

A touchscreen... Why would THAT be a factor. Somehow I knew that had to be the problem (as I mentioned the no-Touchscreen text), but I cannot seem to fathom why it is touch-exclusive.
PLEASE INVELOS - elaborate on this??? Where does it say the Windows Mobile has to be touch screen?
Supported on: Windows Mobile 6 Professional or Classic Windows Mobile 5 Professional or Classic Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 2003 SE Support for standard (240x320), and VGA (480x640) devices is built-in, with more on the way. Movie Pick, mobile version lets you quickly find something good to watch. Cast and crew browser finds related profiles instantly. Jump between profiles directly from the list. Parental control
I'm DEEPLY disappointed... Though I will probably get over it...

Regards A user who feels stupid and lost in the world of misinformation... There was no misinformation...just a user who was slightly uninformed . All of the supported platforms are Touchscreen versions of the Windows Mobile operating system. If your device does not have a touchscreen, then it is not using one of the supported platforms. It is more than likely using one of the Standard versions of Windows Mobile 6 Professional or Windows Mobile 5 Professional. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

As it has come up a few times, maybe you should still add it explicitly to the list of requirements. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
